Crossroads Ride and Rider Rating System

CROSSROADS is adopting a rating system that will help all of us as riders decide if a riding opportunity is appropriate for our skill level. I want to extend credit to Waterford HOG (riding out of ABC Harley Davidson, Waterford, Michigan) as we are using their system as a model for ours.

The ride planner or event coordinator will rate the ride according to this scale. You are responsible for rating your skill level and planning yo ur participation accordingly. These “scales” or “guidelines” are being offered as part of our continuing effort to enhance our group rides and their safety. The goal is to reduce the overall risk inherent in group riding.

Please review these carefully and thoroughly. Honestly use the Riders’ Skill Scale to rate your ability. Then choose your group rides accordingly. It will enhance your experience.
