Hello to all fellow Crossroads Chapter Members, I'm Tom Coffey, your new Road Captain. I'm looking
forward to the upcoming riding season filled with Sunday meeting lunch rides, dessert destinations,
as well as long distance trips. With group participation, we can all meet new friends, and keep in
touch with old ones.
Skills Competition Update - I will be attending the meeting at 1 p.m. on March 16 at Wolverine HD to find
out all the latest. I will pass along all the information through the website.
ATTENTION ALL 2007 ROAD CAPTAINS (LEADS/SWEEPS)
I would like to have a meeting for all chapter members that have participated as a
road captain (lead/sweep) in the past riding season to join me for a refresher ride on
April 19 before the first group chapter ride of the season Vermontville the following weekend.
We will meet at the dealership around 10 a.m. We will go over the group riding hand signals,
waiver responsibilities, riding formation, group sizing, communications with the radios, etc.
Plan on at least a 5 to 6 hour day.
We will take the route planned to Vermontville that day - all taking turns leading and/or sweeping,
stopping somewhere for lunch along the way. Please contact me with your email or phone number
so I will be aware of the size of group.
